About the Artist:
Suzanne Burke

Suzanne Burke is a full-time ceramic artist and potter in Pineville, Louisiana. Raised in the mountains of Colorado Suzanne found her passion for nature-based art early in life. After meeting her husband, Jason, Suzanne was able to convert her passionate hobby into a full-time venture supplying multiple mountain gift shops with pottery. The name 'Thunder Hoof Pottery' was derived from their Colorado ranch and Horse rescue where her art funded lifesaving care for horses through pottery sales. This blend of clay and compassion continues to inspire functional stoneware and sculptural works.

Now transplanted to Louisiana, Thunder Hoof Pottery in Pineville, Suzanne offers group and private pottery classes for all levels as well as open studio time. Suzanne is also honored to exhibit at the Alexandria Museum of Art, sharing pieces that bridge ranch heritage with Louisiana’s creative community.
